Linear Construction & Design is looking for a Skilled Laborer to join our team.
Skilled Laborers perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and installation of exterior and interior building and grounds surfaces.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operation of power tools, hand and power equipment
- Loading and unloading materials from vehicles or trailers
- Loading and unloading building materials into containers or dumpsters
- Loading and unloading building products into trucks or other vehicles
- Operating a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, power tools, hand and power equipment, rakes, shovels, mowers, etc.
- Cleaning of buildings and grounds during the workday. This includes: the use of chemical cleaning products, rags, brushes and other equipment.
- The ability to work in all weather conditions.
Skills:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and climb ladders.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to use common sense and common building materials.
- Basic math skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £62.50 per day
