We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join the friendly team at our Hellaby site. As one of our Production Operatives, you'll work within an IWS line structure, reporting into the Line Lead.
Quality, Health and Safety and working to priorities are a must for this role and you’ll be working alongside a team member in the area. Once trained as part of your role and responsibilities, you’ll be able to operate a line/fryer, carry out quality checks and maintaining standards using the IWS approach.

The working hours are
- 24/7 shift pattern 7am-7pm (12 hour shifts, on days and nights)
- 24/5 shift pattern morning shift 6am-2pm and afternoon shift 2pm-10pm (8 hour shifts)

Production Operatives are responsible for undertaking the following tasks:
- Competently operate packing machines
- Efficiently carry out any assigned operation or task, meeting all output targets
- Effectively contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping, health & safety and hygiene standards
- Resolving running problems/issues
- Carrying out all testing procedures for products as and when required
- Ensuring all stages of work are checked against quality standards
- Cleaning of the units after a changeover or for a shutdown
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Fully engaging with the IWS ways of working principles

The ideal candidate will have /be:
- Previous experience in operating a process line, wrapping line, quality checks and IWS but not essential as full training will be given
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- The ability to take ownership and accountability
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- Reliable with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
